The Master’s Degree in Aviation
Science (MAS) will offer aviation professionals such as flight crewmembers, air
traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, maintenance technicians, and airport
and airline management personnel the opportunity to significantly enhance their
knowledge of the aviation community and aerospace industry. Additionally,
this degree can help graduates pursue more exciting and challenging careers.
This intensive program offers
a rigorous, broad-based curriculum for students to gain a mastery of the
aviation field. Students will complete technical aviation coursework that
will include analysis of transportation systems, airport operations, aerospace
communications systems, aerospace logistics, aircraft simulation, advanced crew
resource management procedures, aerospace systems safety, and advanced security
and safety program management.
To receive a Master’s
Degree in Aviation Science, students must complete 36 credit hours.
