The Master’s Degree in
Aviation Science Degree will offer aviation professionals such as
flight crewmembers, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers,
maintenance technicians, and airport and airDegree Programs management personnel
the opportunity to significantly enhance their knowledge of the aviation
community and aerospace industry and help them to pursue exciting and
more challenging careers.
Description
Designed for aviation professionals, the Master’s Degree in Aviation
Science Degree offers a rigorous, broad-based curriculum for
students to gain a mastery of the aviation field. Students will
complete technical aviation coursework that will include intensive
analysis of airway transportation systems, airport operations,
aerospace communication systems, aerospace logistics, aircraft
simulation, advanced crew resource management procedures, aerospace
systems safety, and advanced security and safety program management.
Students of the Master’s Degree in Aviation Science Degree will be
required to complete a research component by taking a Research
Methods course and initiating, writing and defending a Graduate
Thesis.
Program Objectives
Everglades University seeks to develop a spirit of inquiry in its
graduates and impart relevant techniques for problem solving in the
global business environment. In doing so, students are prepared with
skills and knowledge that serve as a basis for change in a world
where change is the norm.
Program OutDegree Programs
To receive a Master’s Degree in Aviation Science Degree students must
complete 36 credit hours. The length of the program is approximately
14 months or 56 weeks (this will vary if a student transfers in
credits).
