Welcome to Healthy Bodies & Strong Minds Healthy Bodies & Strong Minds is a charitable initiative of Everglades University and its three Florida campuses. We believe that service to the community is a responsibility. In addition to numerous local fundraising projects and volunteer outreach efforts throughout the year, our campuses unite annually for a system-wide fundraising project to benefit a select cause or organization that aligns with our mission and goals of serving our communities. In 2009, we’ve chosen a health and fitness focus for our outreach efforts, recognizing the incredible impact small changes can bring toward living a longer, healthier life. Partnering with The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, and others, students, staff, and faculty are raising awareness and funds through healthy-lifestyle inspired activities throughout the months of September, October, and November.
