Patsy Trevino wins the 2004 Classroom Teaching
Effectiveness
Award. The award is given for being selected as one of the top 5
teachers in the collegiate system based on student retention, grades,
pre-post tests and monthly student survey results.
Patsy B. Trevino-Bernhardt A.P., L.M.T., CD (DONA) holds a bachelors
degree in Psychology from Argosy University, a Bachelors degree in
Professional Health Science and a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine
from the East West College of Natural Medicine. She is currently a
Ph.D. candidate in Natural health at Clayton College of Natural
Medicine. Patsy also teaches at the Sarasota Campus currently,
licensed by the state of Florida
as an Acupuncture Physician and as a Massage Therapist. Patsy is a
Diplomat in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a DONA certified Birth Doula.
She has been working in the field of alternative medicine sine 1997
and currently practices as a DOM specializing in disorders related to
obstetrics and gynecology. Patsy has been teaching various topics
related to alternative medicine since 1998 and currently is the
Director of a massage program in Florida.
