Fort
Lauderdale, Florida - Everglades College held its first baccalaureate
degree graduation ceremony at 1:00pm Saturday, January 25th
at
Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Arthur Keiser, Chancellor of the
Keiser Collegiate System of which Everglades College is a part,
addressed the graduates who made history by being the first four-year
graduates since the school’s inception in 1989. Many of the graduates
completed all of their coursework online.
Everglades College schedules its classes one evening during the week
and Saturday to enable students to work full-time while earning their
degree. Students take one class at a time before moving onto the
next. This format meets the needs of working students by eliminating
the juggling of multiple assignments and exams simultaneously.
Everglades College is a four-year institution which offers classes
both on campus and online. The college offers the Bachelor of Science
Degree with majors in Business Administration, Information Technology,
Applied Management, Aviation Management, Professional Aviation, and
Alternative Medicine. With small class sizes and unique scheduling,
Everglades accommodates the working student. Part of the Keiser
Collegiate System which serves nearly 5,000 students throughout
Florida, Everglades College is accredited by the Accrediting
Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
