"In September, 2003 I was perusing a local newspaper when my eyes fell upon an advertisement for Everglades College. I regarded the advertisement as a good omen. Some years prior I had made the decision to pursue a Masters Degree, but it was a matter of when, and which institution. The advertisement it said, Call Today. I did. Without wasting time I completed the necessary applications, and paid all applicable fees. I then asked myself: Had I made a prudent decision? Had I been too hasty? My doubts lingered until the following week when I attended an interview with Michael Flynn. After the interview all doubts faded; I was ready to become a graduate student. I could not believe my fortune. Michael announced that I was to be Everglades first graduate student, and the Everglades Staff welcomed me into their fold with warmth akin to family. Since that day my education at Everglades University became an animated voyage. Each of my courses brought excitement, wonder and intensified my passion for aviation. I feel honored to be Everglades Universitys first student to receive a Masters Degree. I trust that I have set an acceptable standard for those who will follow in my footsteps. My time at Everglades shall remain a pleasant and indelible memory. I wish Everglades University continued growth, and success.: Llewellyn Boyer-Cartwright, 2004 graduate

"My experience at Everglades University has fostered a feeling of sincerity and respect. Respect for the professors as well as the other staff members. From the beginning, the staff of American Flyers College, now Everglades University, has been very helpful in helping me attain my educational goals. As a new 4-year University, they have tried their best to accommodate my personal needs as well as my professional needs. From helping me with financial aid issues, to just having a group of sincere individuals that care about their students so intimately, was quite astounding. I was not treated as a number, but as a person. My experience at Everglades University has also been met with people that I not only call my instructors but also my friends. The open door policy of the president as well as the faculty has lend way to facilitate a sense of caring and assurance that issues can and will be dealt with in a matter of utmost concern. I really do appreciate the help that I have gotten along the way, and hope that this will continue in the distant future." Kirk M. Webster, 2002 Graduate Boca Raton Campus Major: B.S. in Aviation Technology "When I retired from the Air Force, I wanted to take the next step in my education. I had considered several institutions but Everglades University really stood out. The focused, one course per month schedule and faculty with real-world industry experience were the key points in my decision to attend E.U. The admission and financial aid processes were effortless and my department chair took a personal interest in my progress. I thoroughly enjoyed every course I took because the instructors made them challenging and fun. There is no doubt in my mind; my bachelor degree from Everglades was the reason I was hired to work for a major aerospace corporation...before I graduated! Thanks Team Everglades!"
