Karim-M-min

Karim M.

I love the location of the Tampa campus. The classes perfectly work around my schedule because after working a full day, I can come to the evening classes. The staff members help me with questions about finance and classes. They get any issues resolved very quickly. I like the format of one class at a time because I can be more productive when I am focusing on a single subject rather than many classes at a time, like at other universities. In the evening classes, I have enjoyed connecting with classmates as many of the other students are prior service members. I entered the Crisis and Disaster Management program because of my experience in the military where I was able to help my fellow Americans in their time of need.

Heather W.

My name is Heather. I am a mom, an aircraft dispatcher, a private pilot, an animal lover, and will almost always be at the beach or near the water when I have free time! I am not a traditional student and many colleges simply do not fit me at this stage of my life. This is what brought me to the admissions office at Everglades. While I initially looked at Everglades University for an aviation degree, the Crisis and Disaster Management program has won me over. I hope to use it to advance my career in aviation but also to diversify my skills into other adventures as well. I am excited to start this journey!
