Dr. Tonya Shearer is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Guy Harvey Foundation. She is a marine biologist who received her PhD in Biology from the University of Buffalo and worked as a Research Scientist at Georgia Institute of Technology for almost 10 years. She founded Discover Science Center, an informal science education center in the metro-Atlanta area in 2014, and specializes in developing hands-on, interactive science programs and activities.
