Everglades University is partnering with McArthur High School and working with their students to compare data on crops and fish growth with a solar powered aquaponics machine in our solar lab. According to Mr. Newman, students from McArthur High School will be able to visit the Sarasota Campus and assist in the aquaponics installation.
Vincent Newman, an agricultural science teacher at McArthur High School was awarded the DuPont Pioneer Excellence in Agricultural Science Education Award.
