The Commonwealth Institute Names President of Everglades University as one of the Top 10 Women-Led Non Profits in Florida

The Commonwealth Institute has awarded Kristi Mollis, President of Everglades University, the honor of being one of the 2017 Top 10 Women Led Non Profits in Florida. The Commonwealth Institute (TLC), a non-profit organization devoted to advancing businesswomen in leadership positions, compiled the list through a study that looked at the characteristics of female leaders.

President Mollis has been the President of Everglades University for over 15 years and was named the South Florida Business Leader of the Year for Education in 2012. Everglades University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities (SACS) and a member of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF). Everglades University has five campuses located in Boca Raton, Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota and an Online Division.

“It was an honor to have been chosen to stand among so many successful and impressive women leaders. I am humbled to be among the Top 10 Women-Led Non Profits in Florida and thank the Commonwealth Institute for this tremendous opportunity and beautiful event,” said Kristi Mollis, President of Everglades University. This was her fourth consecutive year to be nominated and she was honored to have been ranked second in the State of Florida in the Top 10 List for 2017.
